The team at Northampton Animal Clinic is comprised of highly trained and experienced animal health professionals who have a genuine love for working with pets. Our staff treats every patient with the highest quality of medical care as well as a gentle touch.
Dr. Eric Randell graduated from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 2010 – Go Gators!! After graduation he was selected and completed a rigorous one-year surgical and medical internship at Hollywood Animal Hospital, in Hollywood Florida. He then moved to Tallahassee with his wife and worked for 2 years with his father at Northampton Animal Clinic before becoming owner in 2014. Since then the clinic has undergone an expansion and made improvements in the areas of medicine, surgery and dentistry. Dr. Eric Randell has a special interest in medicine and ultrasonography.
In his personal time, Dr. Eric loves spending time with his family, including his wife Dr. O’Reilly and their two young sons. He can often be found fishing or playing football and basketball with his sons. The rest of the family consists of a frenchie named Fudgie, 3 cats named Bubba, Loki, Jiggly and a tortoise named Ping. His favorite hobbies are fishing, reading, and Netflix and chilling.
Dr. Shannon O’Reilly graduated from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 2010 – Go Gators!! After graduation she was selected and completed a rigorous one-year surgical and medical internship at Hollywood Animal Hospital, in Hollywood Florida. She moved to Tallahassee with her husband in 2012 and worked at Northwood Animal hospital for 2 years before becoming owner of Northampton Animal Clinic in 2014. Since then the clinic has undergone an expansion and made improvements in the areas of medicine, surgery and dentistry.
Dr. O’Reilly has a special interest in soft tissue surgery and general veterinary dentistry. She is currently enrolled in the Veterinary Dental Practitioner program through the International Veterinary Dental Institute (IVDI). The program provides additional study, training, and assessment to enhance a general practitioner’s knowledge and skills in veterinary dentistry, but upon completion of the program they are NOT board-certified specialists.
In her personal time, Dr. O’Reilly loves spending time with her family, including her husband Dr. Eric and their two young sons. She can often be seen cheering from the sidelines at flag football and basketball games. The rest of the family consists of a frenchie named Fudgie, 3 cats named Bubba, Loki, Jiggly and a tortoise named Ping. Her favorite hobbies are taking care of her garden of roses, playing the piano, reading, and Netflix and chilling.
Graduated from the University of Florida in 1981 and holds a masters degree in Veterinary Parasitology. He specializes in English Bulldogs and treats both large and small animals. He enjoys the outdoors and can be found boating, fishing, or running when not working.
